For about 30 years, Pastor Antonio & Haydee Serrano have served as Senior Pastors in both urban and suburban congregations across New York State.

Pastor Antonio Serrano invited Jesus Christ into his heart at the age of nine in a Royal Ranger outpost meeting. Since his true conversion in 1973 he has been preaching and teaching the Word of God. His first pulpit was the street corners of Brooklyn, preaching to whoever would listen.

He married Haydee Arroyo, a Puerto-Rican born & raised in New York City, in 1979. Together, they have three sons and six grandchildren. They served as Youth Pastors in Manhattan under Rev. Porfirio and Julia Reyes, who prophesized the pastoral calling over his life, and under Rev. Luis A. and Rosa Rojas.

Along with the responsibilities of ministering and running a church they have co-founded, directed, and taught in two Christian Academies. The first one Calvary Christian Academy was in Brooklyn (1991), New York, and the other Ebenezer Christian Academy located in Bayshore, New York (1994).

In September of 2004, they became the Senior Pastors of Macedonia Assemblies of God, one of the oldest Latino churches in New York City.

Education continues to be in the hearts and minds of our pastors. In 2005, they took over as principals of the Manhattan Section chapter of the Spanish Eastern District Bible Institute of the Assemblies of God, which provides a 4 year education program, in English or Spanish, for theological and biblical formation, spiritual guidance and skills for those desiring to serve in Christian ministry. Classes were originally held in Macedonia Church pre-pandemic & since 2019, the school has been operating virtually, where they have been able to register students across the nation.
